Summer Orders Stocking Issues

This is a detailing of the timeline of events that caused stocking issues for pre-orders during the summer season. The largest issues towards filling out orders looked to be the sticker order from July not being fulfilled and the orders given to the supplier not being fulfilled.

Will be looking into alternatives to sticker fulfillment as this has caused larger delays then I intended.

May 15th – Open up pre-orders for new items for Dya Rikku and Yuniiho

June 6th – Mousepad order placed and paid for, awaiting items to arrive. Est Arrival time is End of July

I had 5 pieces each of Dya Rikku and Yuniiho mousepads shipped to AX express

June 13th – Keychain and Standee order placed (Referred to as June Keychain Order), shipped to LA for AX

Idea is that I would have the items at AX then either bring them back or ship them back to then fulfill online orders.

June 17th – Sticker order placed (Referred to as June Sticker Order), shipped to LA for AX

Same idea, have the items at AX then either bring them back or ship them back to then fulfill online orders.

June 23rd – Poster order placed in LA for AX

Same idea, have the items at AX then either bring them back or ship them back to then fulfill online orders.

July 4th – AX finished, items (Keychains, standees, and Stickers) are packed and heading to Toronto for Anime North. EST Arrival end of July

These items ended up being held by customs, and end up arriving in Vancouver on August 30th

July 8th – Sticker order placed for Vancouver (Referred to as July Sticker Order)

This order ended up not being fulfilled

July 11th – A seperate Keychain and Standee order was placed to arrive start of August (Referred to as July Keychain Order)

This order did arrive on time

July 27th – Mousepads arrived in Vancouver

I still had conventions during this time so the items were not sorted yet

Augsut 2nd – July Keychain order arrived in Vancouver

Used keychains from this order to fill out orders instead of the AX ones

August 7th – Animethon, last convention planned for the Summer completed

Arrived back on August 8th, had to do take a day off to see the doctor and get health in check

August 10th – Orders starting to be packed based on senoritiy. There are pre-orders from March that had to be fulfilled first.

As Dya Rikku and Yuniiho items were placed in May so orders from March and April were packed and mailed first.

August 26th – Orders containing Dya Rikku and Yuniiho items started to ship out without stickers, orders that needed stickers were submitted to the supplier so that they will ship it out.

The decision at this point was that I needed to get the orders out as much as I can. The idea is that the supplier will be able to back fill the other orders as I get caught up on the rest of the orders.
Majority of the orders were shipped, estimate of 27~ orders out of 300~ didn’t have the stickers in orders

August 30th – AX package for Toronto arrived in Vancouver

Items arrived way later then I planned and are mixed with alot of other things, was sorted gradually through the week. September 7th is about time I reached the stickers in the package. But by then the majority of the orders were shipped and orders that needed stickers were sent to the supplier.

September 23rd – Remaining sticker orders shipped
